An Overview of Homes for Heroes (HFH)

Recently, I was asked the question, “Is Homes for Heroes a scam?” I feel the need to clear the air on this subject. As an affiliate for HFH and a real estate agent, I am confident that the nationwide HFH program is not a scam. Here is some general information:

  • WHY? Homes for Heroes was established shortly following the tragic events of September 11th as a way to give back and say “Thank You” to our nation’s heroes. HFH is the largest nationwide network of affiliate real estate specialists providing easy ways for everyday heroes to save significant money when buying, selling or refinancing a home.

  • WHO? Qualifying heroes are public service professionals such as military (active and retired), teachers, law enforcement, firefighters, nurses, and emergency medical technicians.

  • WHAT? Hero rewards include reduced real estate service fees when selling a home; reduced lending fees when refinancing a mortgage; and money back when buying a home.

  • HOW? Register with Homes for Heroes, work with an HFH real estate affiliate, buy/sell/refinance, and receive hero rewards. No red tape or hidden fees.

Public service professionals deserve rewards and respect. When I heard about the Homes for Heroes program, I knew it was right for me. I was selected as an affiliate due to my community service and my heart for helping people. In the rebate check format, 25% of my commission is paid to the hero and 5% goes back to the Homes for Heroes program -- which is spent on large events thrown in honor of public service professionals. It’s a wonderful opportunity to help those who make our community better on a daily basis!

If you would like to register or learn more about HFH, contact me directly or visit the Homes for Heroes website.
