University of Incarnate Word  celebrates the time honored holiday tradition of “O Tannenbaum” as we kick off the holidays with one of the most anticipated events of the season.held Saturday November 21,2015

Christmas City at Gateway Church is a live, outdoor presentation of the story of Christ’s birth. With over 100 costumed actors, 30-foot-tall buildings and plenty of animals, this is a spectacular, must-see Christmas event for San Antonio residents and visitors.

Westin La Cantera Resort is home to Hill Country Holidays, a series of holiday events and activities that your family is sure to love. One big highlight is Frost -- a special synthetic outdoor ice skating rink that has been set up just for the holiday season and is available daily. Cost is $10 for 45 minutes of skating.

City of Windcrest A tradition since the 1950s, San Antonio residents and visitors enjoy viewing the dazzling Christmas lights in the City of Windcrest annual Light Up. Thousands drive through the Windcrest streets in awe of the amazing Christmas light displays. The streets of Windcrest get very crowded with spectators as Christmas approaches, so visit on a weeknight for less traffic. Windcrest is adjacent to the Interstate 35/Loop 410 interchange, just 15 minutes from downtown San Antonio.

Santa's Ranch features a mile of holiday scenes with over a million lights and over 100 displays and animations. cost is $22 per car and it is located just across I35 across San Marcos outlets

The San Antonio River Walk is home to a number of fantastic Christmas activities events throughout the month of December. Throughout the season, 1.8 million lights illuminate the River Walk.
